Conclusion, it's not working for your version of proggy. This is a contradiction since the voice config I made was specifically for proggy to use VocalizerEx. ** VocalizerEX is working via Primo since it is outside proggy it has to be wrong voice config. 2) Unpack the voice you need and follow instructions inside. 1) Unpack package and look for voice you need. * So it could be VocalizerEx not working on the head unit Here is the solution to get all TTS Nuance ve1 voices working in iGO Nextgen with all versions. But it works under Primo on your head unit**. You said you got the combination of VocalizerEx and my voice config working on a different device running NextGen but doesn't work on your head unit*. I re-read your earlier post and there something that doesn't seem right. So if it doesn't work for your version of proggy, you need to use any of the above 3.

I don't have the time to create nor the resource to test it. It's correct (or rather tested) for the following When I set iGO Primo to use its TTS Pro voices (using the Android default TTS engine), the music mutes when the GPS announces directions (which now include street names), then the music un-mutes once the announcement finishes. The TTS is working for me now, however the voice looks very spaced out, changing the setting in the Android TTS setup to make it say faster doesn't affect the iGO's spaced out TTS.Is this correct voice config Voice_TTS-nua-eng-au-f1-lua-dri40-vssq5f22.zip for VocalizerEX in nextgen? So it looks like the gibberish comes from some other part, not the voice.zip file. So as a way to find out which file causes the problem, I deleted the entire contents and copied the contents from the Eng-UK file (from edit 2 above), and yet the gibberish continued. I was able to do so, but the problem with gibberish continued. I took some old En-US files and modified the info.ini files to see if I can get iGo to recognize the voice file. I have my iGo folder in the extenral SD card. I had to install the VocalizerEx directory on to the internal drive (sdcard0 if your file explorer shows sdcard0 and sdcard1) to get the Vocalizer working.

zip file that works.Īnyone trying it on older phones and CyanogenMod. here is the file if anyone is interested Hopefully someone will find a working Eng-US. The other file I mentioned is a Loquendo file, and it is for English UK, however, it seems to work well with Nuance. So it looks like the voice file from the above post may be incompatible with the Vocalizer TTS. I previously had the same problem (not on Nuance/Vocalizer) and another forum member suggested that I had a bad voice file. However, the street names pronounced are gibberish. Ok, I got the zip file to be put in the content/voice directory from this post Could you please tell which files you put in the iGO folder and where? The content/voice folder is supposed to be a zip file.
